5 Incredibly Romantic Things You Can Do For Your Girlfriend

Gentlemen, let’s face it:  women are suckers for romance. We love it when you do unexpected romantic things for us.

Sadly, most guys are not romantics. Most guys truly have no clue how to turn a woman on by melting her heart with a romantic act.

But you’ve come to the right place if you’re looking for romantic ideas to wow your girlfriend. Here are five romantic ideas that will win you some serious brownie points:

1. Take Her For a Surprise Picnic in a Romantic Location

Plan ahead by packing up some picnic food (and maybe some wine, too!) and throwing it in the trunk of your car.

Then, invite your girlfriend to go on a sunny afternoon walk somewhere secluded. As you arrive at the intended hike location, whip out a blanket and have a picnic.  She’ll love it.  (This is even better on a starry summer evening!).

2. Write Her a Love Note

And leave it under the windshield wiper of her car late at night so she’ll find it in the morning when she’s about to leave for work.  The unexpected and very touching act of leaving a romantic note (or poem, or photo, etc.) will brighten her entire day!

3. Send Anonymous Flowers to Her Work on a Weekday

Surprise your better half with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Order them online or from a local florist, and ask them to write “from your secret admirer” on the note. But, so that she knows it’s actually you, address the note/flowers to her using a nickname or inside joke she’ll recognize. (For example: “To the girl I love more than anything in the world — and the best cookie chef! …. From your secret admirer.”).

 4. Give Her a Surprise Gift That Has Deeper Meaning

For example, if you know she absolutely adores The Beatles, buy her a framed Beatles wall poster and leave it gift-wrapped somewhere she’ll find it later (i.e. in her car, in her sock drawer, under her desk at work, etc). It doesn’t have to be anything major. After all, it’s the thought that counts!

5. Designate a Day Where She’s “Queen For A Day”

You can make this a surprise or plan it together in advance. Tell your significant other that she gets to decide everything on that particular day.

She can choose where you want to go on a date, what you eat for dinner, what movie you watch, and perhaps most importantly, what goes on in the bedroom that evening!
