Yeah, I hear you. It’s best to let him finish whatever unfinished business he has with this ex. Sorry, but there’s not much you can do at this point, especially if your relationship only lasted a short while and more so if he’s seemingly (subconsciously or not) used you as a rebound, for your ex to jump back too quickly with her. Good luck and I hope you find the right guy for you soon!

After a day of texting I asked if he’d be up to resuming taco nights w the group. He then said he didn’t have time to maintain our friendship and it wouldn’t be beneficial. I was hurt he refunded me the money we had to go to a concert this coming fall and the next day I seen him walking with his ex:( explains the dry cold response and not wanting to be anything

That’s a good sign, especially if he’s constantly reaching out to you and basically opening the lines of communication between you two again. Once you’ve already completed the full 30-day “no contact” rule and assuming you did it correctly, then the texting tips here will be a good starter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XonMtLFo000 but make sure you tick off the checklist here first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAhMrmw3Sms This means you take time focusing on the second phase and eventually the third phase when the time is right. This won’t happen overnight, of course, but it’s something you ought to continue to work on to the point where you’re gradually building attraction again. This is what my guide is for. Have you checked it out yet? It’s too complicated to explain everything on here, but here’s an overview of these phases and what to expect in each one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeGNPBdpnsI Good luck!

I sent a message to him a little after the 30 days and he responded. We are meeting up in a few days.
I really didn’t think it would happen after he told me never to contact him again. Thank you so much

My boyfriend and I broke up and we haven’t been in contact for about a month. I got a text from him last week that said “hey hi”. The last time we spoke(a month ago), I asked for a fresh start and he was supposed to call me for us to resolve things but he never did until he texted me last week. I haven’t been able to respond because I’m not sure what to say. What do you suggest I do/say to him to resolve things?
Thanks

Just make sure to keep it short and simple and avoid drama at all costs. If you’ve reached out to your ex only fairly recently, and assuming you’ve correctly employed the 30-day “no contact” rule, then that’s a normal reaction from your ex. Here, watch this to help you understand things better: http://y2u.be/CP8FQlvDuVU But also try to see what sort of messages have you been sending your ex? It’s a different story if you’ve been trying for so long with all the right moves and still stuck in the friendzone, but I don’t think that’s the case with you. Focus on the second and third phases instead. It helps to learn the basics here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeGNPBdpnsI and/or better yet, read my guide to guide you every step of the way, at http://www.breakupbrad.com Good luck!

I have a text message to ask her about insurance. BUT, what if she does not respond or responds with a negative reply????
