Just speak what you’re really thinking but make sure you don’t sound like you’re trying to blame. You’ve been together for almost two years, so I’ll have to ask you. How do you usually communicate your needs to him? That’s how you ought ot do it. It helps to pick a good timing, though. Try to bring it up casually, though, like saying something like “Hey, how about we have the kids over for the holidays?” and see how he responds. 😉
